A little backstory…

With extensive experience in musical theatre, outdoor Shakespeare, and interactive shows for young audiences, Catherine thrives in high-energy, athletic productions that embrace physical comedy.

After graduating with dual degrees in Public Health and Dramatic Arts from UNC-Chapel Hill, Catherine toured nationally with the award-winning rock & roll nutrition education program Jump with Jill, later helping to adapt and star in its film version, Jump with Jill: The Movie!

Recent favorite roles include Dawn in Waitress (Pittsburgh Musical Theater), Viola in Twelfth Night (Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks), and Mary in the one-woman show The Twelve Dates of Christmas (Steel City Shakespeare Center). Other regional credits include performances with Pittsburgh CLO, PlayMakers Repertory Company, the New Hazlett CSA Series, and the Hangar Theatre.

Beyond the stage, Catherine is the founder of Drizzly Day Design, where she empowers fellow artists and arts organizations through custom web design. She also frequently teaches and directs the next generation of theatre kids.

Catherine believes live performance holds a rare and vital power to create human connection. She is dedicated to growing as an artist, sharing her experience, and exploring new horizons to help the arts not just survive, but thrive in our constantly changing world.
